Last week I mentioned briefly in the link round up that I’ve started working out again to help build a routine. This week I’ve taken things a step further and am now waking up early each day. I don’t know about you all, but I thrive on routine and consistency. Two things that have not been part of my life since I got pregnant in early 2021. It may surprise folks to know but throughout the first year of the pandemic, I had a great routine. After a few months I found my rhythm in working from home and was doing well incorporating routine in my day to day (obviously as a way to have some control in my life while the world spun out of control). Once I got pregnant, I lost all energy and willingness to do the things I used to love. I had a baby, and again, my priorities shifted. All my time and effort went to taking care of her, and the little time I saved for myself was for sleeping and staring off into space.
